Approach based on our traffic light method

Our circular roadmap, the path to your sustainable pumping stations

Based on our circular roadmap, we follow five crucial steps. We use circular traffic lights for each product category of a pumping station, documenting the technical, social, and financial conditions.

With the circular roadmap, we provide transparency in the methodology and reporting of achieved ecological, social, and financial goals.

Step 1 – Inventory of the project scope

The first and most important step in the process is a thorough inventory of the project scope to establish the circular roadmap. This includes identifying specific objectives, required resources, and setting a clear timeline.

Step 2 – On-site collection by category

After defining the circular roadmap, it’s time to collect products on-site. Good coordination with all parties is crucial to ensure the collection is efficient and environmentally friendly.

Step 3 – Sorting using our traffic light method

Once the products are collected, they are registered and sorted in our social workshops. Based on the circular roadmap with associated traffic lights, it is now clear how the route for each product continues. A technical inspection may be part of this.

Step 4 – Conditioning with highest circularity

Now that it is clear which route each product will follow, it’s time to condition them circularly. Maximizing lifespan is paramount, whether as a complete product (reuse, repair, refurbish) or by reusing as raw materials (remanufacture) for the production of new products.

Step 5 – Reporting achieved results

The final step in our process is preparing a detailed report. This report serves as documentation of the sustainability efforts, including SROI hours. It also provides insight into the project’s performance relative to the set goals.
